Did a dashcam catch a ghost walking into a wall ?? (video)

Is this a ghost caught on camera in Armagh this afternoon?

The ‘chilling’ footage was captured on Vicars Hill in Armagh around lunchtime on Monday, in the shadow of the towering Church of Ireland Cathedral.

The distinctive figure can be seen walking from one side of the road to the other before disappearing into the wall and grounds of the Cathedral opposite.

We’ve slowed down and zoomed in on the footage and the figure appears to be that of a man dressed in Georgian attire – befitting of the ancient city’s Georgian roots.

The person who sent this our way wanted to remain anonymous but seems to think his grandmother caught a ghostly figure on her dash-cam – despite the camera’s movement.

The man said “my granny is still hyperventilating from the shock of seeing the ghost”.

Mom captures ghost in photo while walking with her kids

An Irish mum has captured a clear snap of what looks like a ghost soldier in a candid family picture of her young son and daughter taken on a walk in Derry.

Gerri Moran took the creepy snap on her mobile phone while out walking along a disused railway line - but didn't spot the eerie ghost soldier until she got back home.

The 34-year-old mother's two kids were running through a wooded area close to the River Foyle, near the Derry/Donegal border when she captured the spooky snap, Belfast Live reports.

But after Gerri she got home and went through the snaps, she noticed a very spooky face looking back at her.

“After our walk I was looking through all the photos I had taken and noticed a kind of shadow or disturbance in front of my son Finn,” said Gerri, from Derry.

“When I looked closer I couldn't believe what I saw, it looked like a man – to me it looked like a soldier - standing there beside the tree. None of us

Did a truck driver photograph a ghost in a tunnel in Ireland

A lorry driver claims to have caught the ghost of a drowned man wandering into a tunnel in Cork, IrelandA lorry driver claims to have caught the ghost of a drowned man wandering into a tunnel during rush hour.

Stephen Smyth was taking pictures as he travelled through Cork, Ireland, with colleague George Furst.

But, after checking one of the photographs, the duo spotted what they believe could be ghostly figure.

Mr Furst, 45, said: 'When we looked at the picture Stephen suddenly said: "What the hell is that?"

'I couldn't believe my eyes - it looked like an old man wearing an old tweed coat walking down the road into the tunnel.
'What was so striking was that it was a busy road and he wasn't looking behind him or paying any attention to any of the cars.

'In fact, we must have driven right through him just after the picture was taken.'
Stephen Smyth and George Furst spotted the figure, who appears to be wearing tweed, after checking one of their photographsThe duo believe the apparition could be someone who drowned in the nearby River Lee.

Mr Furst said: 'The tunnel isn't that old so it's unlikely that it is someone who died in the tunnel. He looks a bit like a butler to me, possibly from the Downton Abbey period.'

'He looks a bit like a butler to me, possibly from the Downton Abbey period, as if he has left a nearby manor house and gone for a walk and drowned in the river.'

Mr Furst, who is originally from Liverpool but has lived in Cork for the last eight years, added that he originally wanted to send the picture to his family back in England pretending it was the Mersey tunnel.

Did a ghost make this pint explode in an Irish Pub (video)

Some spots in Ireland are known for their ghostly apparitions, but the locals at Barney Mac’s pub, in Drogheda, County Louth, got the fright of their lives when they saw a pint of Smithwick's explode right in front of their eyes.

This CCTV, posted to YouTube by BroadSheet.ie, shows the locals' confusion as a pint of Smithwick's explodes. The pint, as you can see, is unattended and undisturbed on the table.

Of course the breakage, it can be reasoned, was caused by the fact that glass was very hot coming out of the dishwasher before the very cold beer was poured into the glass causing the glass to contract and break.

However, we prefer the owner of Barney Mac’s explanation that the pub is haunted by the ghost of former patron Joe Murphy. Apparently Murphy was a Beamish stout man. Maybe he took offense to Smithwick's being drunk.

Teenager spots a strange ghostly figure in a Snapchat selfie

Bethany Harvey, from Northern Ireland, captioned her Snapchat selfie 'photo bombed!' after her sister jumped into the background (left), but another ghostly figure also seems to have got in on the act (right)
From cute animals to Benedict Cumberbatch and even the Queen, it seems that virtually everyone has managed to get in on the photobombing craze.

And now it seems even the spirits of the dead are making an appearance after two teenagers spotted what seems to be a ghostly girl in the background of a Snapchat selfie.

Bethany Harvey, from Northern Ireland, took a picture of herself, her baby nephew and her sister to show friends, but later noticed what seemed to be a little girl's torso in the background.

Closer inspection revealed what looked like a young girl wearing a purple dress sitting down with her hands folded neatly in her lap.

Miss Harvey told the Daily Mirror: 'I was taking a picture of my nephew and I, but my sister jumped into the background so I captioned the picture "photo bombed!"
'A friend of mine came to my house that night and pointed out what looks to be a woman with her hands folded on her knees in the background, baring in mind the picture was taken facing the living room door.

'Although we can't see the face of the figure the rest of it is as clear as day. There was nobody else in the living room at the time, except for the ghost girl in the purple dress.'

She added that she is now terrified of going into her living room in the dark in case she catches another glimpse of the spectre.

Is this a spooky Snapchat ghost staring through the window ??

The snap was taken in an UPSTAIRS bedroom at the Newry home: The family have started to notice spooky experiences like noises, footsteps and people being tipped

These pictures will definitely be the creepiest you will see today.

A young Irish teen was sending a Snapchat picture to her pal but what seems to appear behind her in the image will send shivers down your spine.

Grainne Dowdall's sister Sinead explained that the 14-year-old was just sending a standard picture to her friend from an UPSTAIRS bedroom in their Newry home when the creepy presence was spotted.

It looks like a ghostly female figure is peering in the window as the picture is being taken.

Sinead said: "It was sent on Snapchat and her friend saw it straight away, took a screenshot and sent it back in shock."

She added that the family have started to notice strange happenings at their Co Down home in recent months.

"It's so creepy. Our house is only around 10 years old but we have had stuff happen in the past couple of months like noises and footsteps and people being tipped."

Ghost photographed at "Game of Thrones" filming location

DUBLIN, Ireland, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- An Irish photographer says he captured the image of legendary ghost the Grey Lady at a Game of Thrones filming location, just in time for Halloween.

Gordon Watson of Ballycastle said he took a series of pictures at the Dark Hedges near Armoy, a location used to film scenes for HBO's popular fantasy drama, and he was surprised when he looked at the photos on his computer and spotted the image of what he believes to be a ghost.

Local legend holds the Grey Lady haunts the Dark Hedges and has been seen gliding along the road and vanishing behind trees. Some stories say she was a woman who died centuries ago of mysterious causes at a nearby home and others say she is a restless spirit from a lost graveyard in nearby fields.

Photographer Kevin McAuley said he examined the picture and determined it has not been digitally altered.
