Steel yourself before taking a close look at the window of the Birmingham Scrap Metal office block at Taronis, in Aston.
There is clearly a face, the tortured image captured during a routine photo-shoot. It is the country’s first scrap metal spook.
And
it is yet more evidence that something not of this world is lurking in
the room, used to store car parts: an eerie place where things go bumper
in the night.
The hardened, five-strong work force freely admit to being scared of entering the cold, dank room.
Documents have mysteriously moved, loud bangs echo from the confined space and temperatures plunge for no reason.
Recently,
the workforce arrived to find the place flooded. The source of the leak
was a smashed toilet in the washroom directly above.
Yet, the compound and block are extensively alarmed. Bells should’ve rung if vandals broke-in.
Now manager Chris Ward is poised to call in a medium to discover which tormented soul is trapped among the broken motors.
The 51-year-old said: “I’d think twice about going up there at night and one guy refused to go up there at all.
“One customer came out absolutely white-faced. He claimed something had come out of the wall.”

Child told parents he was being followed by a UFO.... (video)
This odd footage was recorded by a nine-year-old boy who claimed a UFO had been following him every day for weeks.
The youngsters parents, who had never seen the craft initially didn't believe the boy.
But he then managed to film the bizarre object, which flies around, changes direction and eventually seems to vanish in mid-air.
After seeing the footage, which the boy captured on the parent's mobile phone, the concerned parents sent the footage to "experts" for verification. The "experts" claim this is proof alien crafts are following children and camouflaging themselves from their parents, in a bid to abduct the child.
Claims that have left the parents shaken and concerned.
In the footage uploaded to Youtube one of the expert commentates on what is seen.
He says: "It was almost as if this craft made itself invisible to the parents and only visible to the child, who was needless to say very frightened by this thing.
"This further corroborates other stories where these UFOs follow children, presumably to abduct them.
"This craft was luckily caught on video by the child who had run in to get the parents phone, ran back out, started recording the craft in mid flight.
"You can see the craft shape shifts, it changes direction it stops before finally dematerialising."

Ghost is filmed MOVING CHAIR across floor of haunted house (video)
Ghostly goings-on have been caught on camera at a Tyneside home, a paranormal enthusiast has claimed.
Terry Johnson believes this footage, captured at a house in Gateshead is clear evidence that spirits from the afterlife are haunting the property.
The keen ‘ghost-hunter’ set-up cameras after a Rowlands Gill resident told him he suspected he was sharing his Rowlands Gill home with some uninvited ghostly guests.
And within an hour of setting-up his specialist equipment, Terry recorded footage of a chair moving entirely on its own.
The 54-year-old said: “We were just gobsmacked when we saw it. We have never had anything like that before and we haven’t stopped talking about it since. It’s the most compelling evidence we have got up to now on an investigation.
And the homeowner, who did not want to be identified, added: “It was absolutely amazing. I knew there was something not right and now he’s just proved it.”
Terry, a full-time carer from North Kenton, in Newcastle, set-up the Gateshead Paranormal Society last year with a former colleague who also had a keen interest in ghosts.
And he was approached by the homeowner earlier this year while investigating some unusual goings-on at the Red Kite pub in Winlaton Mill.

Man hiking near an suicide spot photographs a GHOST
A man
hiking near a local suicide spot in rural Queensland has snapped a
picture of a shadowy figure that some claim is a ghost.
The
image, posted to Toowoomba Ghost Chasers' Facebook page on Thursday
evening, appears to show a bald man, with a short beard, wearing a red
jumper standing among a stack of fallen branches.
The
group claim that a member, who goes by Brokc David, was hiking in a
national park near Goomburra, Toowoomba, in rural Queensland, when he
started to feel as if someone was watching him.
'This was shared by a member who went out hiking at a local Toowoomba water hole known for suicides.'
‘He
all of a sudden felt as though he was being watched and followed and he
felt an awful feeling of dread wash over him.. Then when going back
through his photos he finds this,’ the post read.
The
ghost hunting group said that while hikers frequent the area, it is rare
to see someone dressed in red in the middle of remote bush land.
Mr David said he has been experiencing a 'feeling of dread’ since he took the eerie photograph.
‘Oddly enough I've been experiencing a similar feeling of dread every once in a while over the last week.'
'I'll
be walking down the street and all of a sudden feel like something is
about to jump out at me from behind a tree,’ he wrote on Facebook.
Several people have commented on the photo testifying to its authenticity.
‘Definitely a bearded man there in red!’ one woman said.

Pub ghost captured on film throwing glasses (video)
Owner Nick Bevon
thought he had been burgled after discovering glass strewn across the
floor when he arrived at the Bassa Villa pub in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
But
he got even more of a fright when he reviewed security footage - only
to discover the glasses were moving ON THEIR OWN, hours after the pub
had shut.
Mr Bevon, 33, said the creepy CCTV clip was not the first evidence of supernatural goings-on at the now infamous venue, which has developed a reputation for being haunted.
He said: "I just
turned up for work on Saturday morning and opened up as usual with the
assistant manager when I noticed the smashed glasses on the floor.
"I thought: 'How did that happen?' because I knew the place would have been left tidy the night before.
"I wondered, had someone maybe been in the bar, so I reviewed the CCTV cameras and there is was at 1.43am.
The little girl's doll came to life then VANISHED
Hundreds of visitors and passers-by have witnessed
apparitions of children laughing, crying and playing in the nursery. The
captain himself has even been seen walking with his daughter Hannah in
the gardens.
When a cholera epidemic was sweeping town, many sick children were brought to the nursery, where they would spend their last days in the oppressive room, shuttered away from the fearful town folk. So many children died here that the room itself took on a chilling aura of death.
The house was opened as a museum in 1960, at which time the doll was placed in a toy pram, in the corner of the faithfully recreated nursery.
After an elaborate security system was installed, the museum manager was constantly being called back to investigate alarms tripped by movement in the house. The activity would always be from the children’s room. Security Staff frequently reported seeing someone or something in the window but, when they went to investigate, no-one was there.
The house is said to be one of the most haunted in the world.
In one instance, the back suddenly flew off a photographer's camera, exposing the film and destroying the image.

Haunted Puppet caught moving on it's own (video)
A creepy
puppet said to have choked its former owner has been filmed moving
inside a sealed glass container in the dead of night.
Paranormal
Investigator Jayne Harris, 32, from Stourbridge, West Midlands,
recorded the puppet every night for three months - after its previous
owner claimed it tried to choke him to death.
And last month she was left dumbfounded, when her cameras caught the chilling moment the wooden doll appears to come to life.
Night-vision
footage shows the puppet's operating cross slowly moving upright before
crashing into one of the sealed box's glass panes.
Jayne,
who investigates haunted dolls, said: 'I've never had anything as
exciting as this. I've caught pictures of mists, orbs and shadows but
nothing as physical as this video evidence.
'Normally
you expect to see an orb or a shadow, but as soon as I saw a bit of
movement and a glint from the metal hooks it made me jump and I knew
we'd recorded something important.
'We've
always kept the puppet in a sealed blessed cabinet as it's a safe zone.
It also means we can keep our experiments as controlled as possible.
'The
cabinet has no doors, so you would have to physically lift all four
sides and the base off to move it, there are not any holes or space for
anything to sneak in there either.
After rising slowly, it stops at a 90 degree angle to the bottom of the sealed glass case, before falling over

Woman spots Ghostly Bishop after Cathedral visit
A woman who took a picture of a shadowy figure in a cathedral believes she might have captured the ghost of a bishop.
Kerry
Launders, 29, photographed the stunning interiors of Norwich Cathedral,
Norfolk, during day out with her partner Simon Tobb, 30, and her
children, Millie, two, and Oscar, one, last month.
But
it was not until she looked back at the mobile phone images that she
spotted what appears to be a man, dressed in long robes and a tall hat,
staring down from a balcony above.
And
it is not the first time something spooky has been seen at the 11th
century cathedral. The Gothic grade-I listed building is a stop-off
point on a number of ghost tours around the area.
Ms
Launders, from Bury, Greater Manchester said: 'I was just taking photos
of the arch on my camera and that was that. There was nothing up there.
'But when I look back through my photos I saw something and had a proper look and I thought "wow" this is a good picture.
'I
looks like a bishop - and there are a lot of those buried there - with
the long clothing and the tall hat. I wasn't scared when I saw it though
because I believe in this sort of stuff.'
Visitors to the cathedral have also reported seeing ghostly figures in the Church of England spired building.

Ghost Floats Over a Baby's Crib (video)
'Ghost' filmed
floating over baby's cot as shocked dad checks on his 8 week-old
daughter. The recording, taken by a baby monitor, shows a misty white
light appearing in the top left hand part of the screen before a
distinctive white orb-shape begins to float over baby Rosie.
This is the moment a ghostly light was filmed floating over a baby's cot as a shocked dad checked on his 8 week-old child. The recording, made by a baby monitor, shows Jonathan Murphy, 32, leaning over baby Rosie after entering her bedroom earlier this evening.
As he does so a misty white light appears in the top left hand part of the screen before a distinctive white orb-shape begins to float to and from over Rosie.
At one point the orb passes very close to Mr Murphy during the spooky incident at their home in Consett, County Durham. Mr Murphy told the Mirror that he had gone up to check on the baby when he first noticed the white light.
After coming downstairs he and partner Victoria Snowdon, 22, watched the recording the monitor had taken which confirmed what he had seen.
Mr Murphy, a betting shop manager, went back upstairs after watching the video and saw the light was still there. He said the couple were 'completely freaked out' by what they had seen. Mr Murphy said the mysterious light has not reappeared at their home since and that they had not seen anything like this there before.

The South Carolina Lizard Man is making a comeback (video)
BISHOPVILLE, SC (WCSC/WIS) - Lizard Man is back. After nearly a decade without a
sighting, Bishopville's mythical beast -- or person in a lizard costume
-- is popping up around town.
Descriptions of the ever-elusive creature suggest it is seven feet tall with red eyes and scales.
The legend began in 1988 at Scape Ore Swamp, where Christopher Davis stopped to change a tire. But a flat would be the least of his worries.
Davis said without warning, a seven-foot-tall "lizard man" left from the swamp and took a bite...out of his car.
New photos and iPhone video taken by witnesses on two separate occasions over the weekend purport to show the Lizard Man.
Though the legend became popular and even attracted national attention in the late 1980s, the Bishopville Cotton museum has sightings documented all the way back to Native American times.
"How many things that we've taken as, 'Oh, that's a story that can't be' has been proven true," Jason Cox of the museum says. "So as I tell people, You have to believe. You have to believe that there could be a lizard man out there.'"

Man claims to have photographed ghost at concert in New Jersey
"I love country," McLaughlin says. "My cousin had a bluegrass band
and we would go down near the river banks, drink beer and hang out. In
the winter, they played down the Shore near Bum Rogers in Seaside Park.
That's when I started following Merle."
The "Merle" to which he refers is no other than Grammy-winner and Country Music Hall of Famer Merle Haggard.
"After all these years, I finally saw him in concert on June 2 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank," he says. "I read about it in the Asbury Park Press and got tickets. I don't really get out, being with my mother, but I was like, 'Wow, Merle's playing!' "
McLaughlin was so close, he had his arms on the stage.
"I figured if I move to the right side, I can get a better shot of Merle."
That's when he started snapping his camera, "an old piece of garbage — I got it from my friend. An old Pentax with a zoom lens. I just kept snapping and snapping." — but things got interesting when he got his photos developed.
McLaughlin noticed someone strange in one of the photos. There is a man standing next to — almost overlapping — Merle's body.
"The guy was never onstage," McLaughlin claims. "Everyone who saw it was kind of puzzled. It sounds a little far-fetched ... the picture looks like the guy is wearing the same outfit as Merle."
The Count Basie Theatre, which has been around for almost 100 years, has long been rumored to house a friendly ghost or two.

NASA posted a picture of a space crab on mars! "Nothing to see here, move along"
And then—get this—THEN they accidentally posted a picture of it online. And then some people spotted it and called a spade a spade crab a crab. Hey everybody! Look! It’s a crab on Mars!
The proof, via UFO Sightings Daily:
This
crab-like object was found in a Mars rover. Its unknown exactly who
found it, but it is really interesting. It does appear alive. It may be a
crab-like animal, or it also may be a plant. Tis object has many arms
and one of them goes to the left of the picture a very long ways. That
arm is longer than all others. Plant or animal it really doesn’t matter.
The significance of this is that it shows signs that it is alive. That
is everything, but not to NASA.
Even if every person on Earth told them
to turn the rover to the left and take a closer look at this object,
NASA will reject it and say, “thats not part of our mission.”
UFO
Sightings Daily reports it also spotted in this photo “another animal
close to this crab, as well as a broken stone building.”
Or maybe, just maybe, it’s a rock. And a case of pareidolia. Nah, scratch that. Definitely a space crab.
Has a ghost been spotted on Mars ??
The NASA photo appears to show a shadowy spirit gliding across the surface of the planet.
YouTube user UFOovni2012 spotted the female ghost on the Nasa-released image last month.
"The woman seems to have breasts," UFO Sightings Daily.com wrote.
"Indicated by the shadow on its chest. "We also see two arms that are lighter in colour and what looks like a head with long hair.
The site also claims the figure was watching over the Mars rover from a distance.
The search for alien life was given new impetus after NASA announced the discovery of Earth's cousin – Kepler-452b.
John Grunsfeld, associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, said: "On the 20th anniversary year of the discovery that proved other suns host planets, the Kepler exoplanet explorer has discovered a planet and star which most closely resemble the
Earth and our Sun.
“This exciting result brings us one step closer to finding an Earth 2."
John Jenkins, Kepler data analysis lead at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California, added: "It has spent six billion years in the habitable zone - longer than the age of Earth - and a considerable time for life to arise somewhere on the earth or in the ocean.
"There is a better than even chance it would be rocky.
